About Us
S*Oblivion's was registered in Fifé 2006. Devon rex has always been the only breed for me and I have a big interest in beeing a part of developing a breed that to me is a mixture of gremlin-look and a heart of gold. I think health, type and temperament is the big cornerstones in breeding and are of equally importants to me. I want a cat with sharp look and soft temperament. I'm no big breeder, and I have no intentions of that either. I think the old klishé "quality before quantity" describes exactly what my aims are.
Catshows is a great way for me to not only meet new and old friends and having a good time, but also to get a hinch that my breeding is on the right way. I almost always have a great laugh those weekens. I mean, beeing with my friends along with 400 beautiful cats, what can go wrong? :) Breeding is for me not only a hobby, but also a lifestile. I spend alot of time studying pedigrees, keeping up with healthstatus and what is happening within the breed and catworld. But of course also speding time with my cats!
At the moment I'm a stay at home mum so my cats are never alone! I live in northen Sweden in a town called Skellefteå. Here I live with my man who is an engineer and doughter Penny. My husband is also a catlover, but maybe he dosn't share the same passion about breeding and showing as I do ;) He is always here when needed. We live in a big flat with lots of space for the cats to play. I have always been surrounded with animals but at the moment is just us and our three cats.
